Abstract EN

This study aimed at identifying the level of health awareness among students of Zarqa University College in Balqa Applied University according to gender, academic program (Diploma, Bachelor) and academic level.

As well as to identify the most sources of access to health information to the study sample which consisted of (425) students from college students of the Bachelor program and diploma, it has been using a questionnaire of health awareness, consisting of (34) items as a tool for the study, the results showed that the level of health awareness among college students was average, as the study showed a differences statistically significant between students depending on the academic program in favor of bachelor's students, as well as the presence of statistically significant differences depending on the variable academic level and in favor of third and fourth year students, while significant differences did not show statistically significant according to gender.

Results of the study also showed that the "Internet" is the top source for health information, the researchers recommended the need to strengthen university courses that enrich the culture of health and working to raise awareness of the importance of health awareness in various fields
