Abstract EN

The present article tackles the topic of the repercussions of sexual assault on children during adulthood according to the gender.

This is by comparing responses of both males and females, and the shock results which come right after the accident on the long term and the short term.

The studies made in the domain of psychology have marked three main observations: the victim may become an aggressor during adulthood, the victim may endure crises and pains ranging from agitation and feeling guilty, therefore the victim keeps living as a victim; and absence of big differences between males and females concerning the repercussions of the sexual assault during childhood on their personalities
