Adolescence is a transitional period of development through which the individual passes from childhood to adulthood.

Due to conflicts in childhood and / or adolescence with some adolescents, a consistent build of one's personality becomes difficult to achieve.

So in this case, the adolescent is in a spiral where he is compelled to the repetition compulsion(of the act committed), to repair what has been conflictual with him.

These attempts are unsuccessful and the adolescent enters a vicious circle where fate is always in the direction of danger, especially if he is not psychologically supported, to understand the process of delinquency with him.

We aim to understand in this researchthe psychic functioning of the delinquent adolescent; we use the clinical method based on a case study.

The techniques used were the clinical interview and a projective test which is the Rorschach.

The interview data were processed of content analysis on psychoanalytic theoretical framework.

We have verified how the adolescent deals with his problems, focusing on how he expresses it in the projective test.

Data from the Rorschach protocols were analyzed, with the Beizmann, Paris 5 manual.

In our study, we detected the psychological vulnerability of the delinquent adolescent, which appeared more strongly with adolescents who committed a serious act.

On the contrary, psychic functioning appears less fragile with adolescents who have committed a less serious act.

These results indicate that juvenile delinquency has its roots in the process of its development and is part of immaturity and the inability to suspend action in favor of representation and development of the verbal expression.

These results open up a research perspective that aims to understand what lies behind the act committed, that is to say the adolescent and its psychic functioning, and not stop at the act only
