The objective of the current study is to know how effective a training program depends on the model of WEHMAN to develop cognitive skills in children with Down syndrome, to achieve this goal, a sample of 20 children with Down syndrome aged between 7 and 11 years old, and their degree of intelligence between 55 and 70 degrees, the sample was divided into two equal groups, one experimental and one control.

In this study the researcher relied on the cognitive skills assessment (prepared by the researcher) and the proposed training program (prepared by the researcher).

The results showed that the training program is effective in developing the cognitive skills of children with Down syndrome
