This study aimed at elaborating on the concept of social worker, how to qualify him, and what are the most important characteristics that identify him within the social organization.

Furthermore, the study aimed at investigating the roles he plays as a practitioner of social service, since social service is no longer a work of righteousness and charity, but carried out by specialists qualified in special institutes of social Work.
