Abstract EN

The current study aims to ensure the importance of integrated model for preparing professionals to work within both fields of special education & related services through presenting proposed model for joint programs between special education departments and related services departments at saudi's universities in order to graduate qualified personnel to perform their tasks in accordance with the concept of collaborative consultation.

The paper is organized into four sections : a) The general concept of joint programs, b) the reality of related services at the schools & programs of special education in Saudi Arabia, c) the nature of personnel preparation in related services at Saudi's universities, and, d) the concept of proposed model of joint programs at Saudi's universities for preparing qualified personnel to deliver effective related service and special education to al all exceptional children.
