Abstract EN

The research aimed to measure the effectiveness of a proposed program, based on the skills of the communicative theory for the development of the professional competence and social skills for teacher-students at the Faculty of Education, Department of Basic Education "Social Studies", Assiut University, and tried to answer the research questions through the use of each of: The descriptive approach to set up die theoretical framework of the research through (determining the communicative theory skills, professionalism and social skills), the preparation of its tools, the analysis and interpretation of the results, and submitting the recommendations and proposals.

As the current research used the experimental approach in the field experience of the research, and the research tools were applied on teacher-students at the Faculty of Education, Department of Basic Education "Social Studies", Assiut University.

The results confirmed the presence of statistically significant differences at the level (•>•') between the average scores of students in cach of the prc application and the post application (the experimental group) in each of the professional competence scale and the test of social skills in favor of the post application.

This confirms the effectiveness of the proposed program, based on the skills of the communicative theory for the development of the professional competence and social skills for teacher-students at the Faculty of Education, Department of Basic Education "Social Studies", Assiut University, and the results of die research have been handled by using (ETA)' Square for research tools where its value was (• -Ao).

That means it was with "high impact."
