Abstract EN

This study aimed to identify the causes of divorce of young women and its psychological and social effects on them from their perspective in Al-Kharj province.

The study followed descriptive analytical survey method.

It used a questionnaire to identify the causes of of divorce of young women, and to measure the psychological and social effects of divorce of young women.

Where the tools were applied on a random sample of (72) divorced from the study population, a young women divorced in Salman bin Abdul-Aziz University.

The results indicated that the most common reasons for divorce among young women are: the physical reasons (biological), Followed by social and psychological reasons.

The results also showed that the most serious effects of divorce on young women are the psychological effects, especially with respect to the phrase "I feel to get out of the house to escape the stress.

“As social impacts came in second place in terms of the effects of divorced young age, especially the phrase "I live a violent conflicts within my family after my divorce."
