Abstract EN

The game of basketball chairs is of a great interest ,and skill of shooting is the end of the attacking for the team.

This skill is taken out of iterations needed in basketball training for the disabled programs for the purpose of mastery next to the leadership of the chair and scrolling and catching the ball and maneuver.

Through the researchers follow-up of basketball competitions of wheelchairs in Iraq , especially shooting, they observed weakness in this important skill as players do not agree often in their performance as this skill combines the performance of a difficult disability in the transfer of movement due to the loss of jumping and depending on trunk without lower limbs, thus, some studies have indicated that the biochemical changes that control skill has not been studied in depth.

The objective of this study is to identify the amount of momentum gained from the effect of moving the tire as much as twice compared to the stability and movement in one tire, as well as to recognize changes in the biochemical variables as a result of momentum gained.

The research sample consisted of (4) players representing Al-Diwaniyah Governorate basketball team.

They were tested in shooting during stability out of the free throw line (5.80 m) and the shooting by turning the tire once and shooting by turning the tire twice and the vedio was filmed by a fast camera,( 100 images\ second) and analyzing variables using the DartFish program.

These variables reached (22) biochemical variables, including ballistic variables related to launch speed, angle and high launch point .The momentum gained by the ball from changing the player momentum in the three tests was significant since the probability of error was less than (0,05), and it was found that this difference has led to the emergence of significant differences in some biomechanical variables and the player benefits from moving the tire of the chair to transfer a bigger momentum to the ball and the momentum is greater if the tire is moved more than once and compensates using the moving tire strategy to generate a faster angle speed than the stability
