The research aims to identify the effectiveness of demonstration method to correct misconceptions alternative of concepts of matter and its transformations; to achieve this goal was made diagnostic test alternative.

It was also prepared written student activities and teacher’s guide for the teaching the previous using demonstration method .

It has resulted in the application of tool for research and implementation of the search experience on the effectiveness demonstration method to correct misconceptions alternative general chemistry concepts
