Abstract EN

The Small business plays an important role in the Jordanian economy for its specificity allowing it to play a prominent role in the economical development; it also advances in the growth of the gross national product what enables it to put an end to the unemployment and devises employment opportunities.

The aim of this study is to point out the role of the small business industry in the achievement of he development of the Jordanian economy, as well as to know the reality of this industry and its ability in the competition.

This study applies the method of measurement of minimal squares, using the statistic program(e-view).

The most important thing that this study has reached is the many results and regulations from which is the ability of this small business industry in increasing the gross national product positively and its ability to create employment.

The most important regulation are the necessity from the part of the government to create the substructure and applying laws to support the small business to make it competent.
