In the context of the real international economy studies, this study aims to shed the light on one of the most important topics of the international finance, which is currently under discussion.

This topic is related to the International Monetary Fund reform and its administration governance, namely the problem of quota reform and the modern trends related to it.

For this purpose, we mainly relied on the study and analysis of the IMF publications and data, as well as, the specialized references that deal with this subject.

In particular, the studies of Brookings Institution for the International Economics, in terms of statistical data collections, development in the calculation of the member states quotas, and the proposals of senior researchers in the international finance.

This study concluded that, despite the importance of quota system reform under the new parameters of the economic power balances map and recent adopted reforms, the IMF quota system is still far from the desired transparency and needs more joint international efforts, So that the reality of quotas reflects the real status of the IMF member states
