Venture Capital is the money provided by investors to startup firms and small businesses with perceived long-term growth potential.

This is a very important source of funding for startups that do not have access to traditional sources of funding (i.e.

capital markets and banking system).

This study demystifies venture capital and distinguishes between venture capital financing and other financing modes (Direct financing through financial markets, banks financing, Islamic financing).

We suggest some techniques that can help to improve establishing a local strategy for venture capital financing
