Abstract EN

This study aimed to identify the status of health related physical fitness among secondary school students in Southern Kordofan State.

The study used the descriptive survey method.

The study was carried out on secondary school students from Kordofan State.

(386)students were randomly selected as the study sample.

Physical fitness data was collected through physical fitness tests,.

The study used the descriptive and inferential statistics.

Analysis was accomplished through the (SPSS ) program.

Results include: The health related physical fitness of the sample is weak, the majority of the sample fitness levels were below average.

recommendations include: The health related physical fitness should be a strategic goal for physical education in different school levels.
