Work is a social and economic right and freedom.

Every citizen has the right to carry out a business that suits his abilities and potentials.

The State is responsible for providing work opportunities for all of its citizens because it is the means through which they earn their livelihood.

Furthermore, work promotes economic development of both the State and individuals.

International treaties and national constitutions state that every person has the right to choose the type of work that suits him.

However, there are some restrictions imposed on the freedom of work in the area of public employment.

Those constraints are based on certain justifications and regulations that should be observed.
