Abstract EN

exploring Ibn Khaldun’s educational ideas and to what degree they have been using in modern Education from the perspective of male and female teachers in Amman.

In addition, it aims at exploring the effects of gender and teaching experience on the degree of their using.

The researchers has utilized the description, analytical, quantitative.

The study sample included (175) male and female teachers from Amman’s third educational directorate Besides, the validity of the study’s tool has been tested and proved to be valid and reliable.

Upon the analysis of Ibn Khaldun’s insights and ideas, the researchers has concluded that many of those views originated from the Holy Quran and Prophet Mohammad’s teachings.

Furthermore, it was concluded that Ibn Khaldun’s ideas were in line and matching with the views of some Moslem scholars auches AlGhazali as well as with most modern education principles Upon utilizing the medium average and (T) Test and ANOVA, the researchers has come to the following conclusions  Ibn Khaldun’s ideas have been adopted to an above average degree in modern education scoring (0.677) of the total degree  There were statistical significant differences in the gender of using the Ibn Khaldun educational ideas due to degree for female  There were no statistical significant Ibn Khaldun differences in the degree of using the educational ideas due to educational experience.
