Abstract EN

In this paper, the searcher seeks to identify the reality of the Arabic writing in social media like Face book.

This study indicates the social practice of the different writing patterns through messages, comments and publications.

The searcher studied a sample of communicators by analyzing the status of the Arabic alphapet, and concluded that its writing with Latin characters, and increasing of the spelling errors are among the biggest threats to its future and status.

This later requires more thinking of the mechanisms of Language planning in order to maintain the body and status of language.

The searcher so combined between the field study to detect the reality of Arabic writing on one hand, and on the other hand, the suggestions and mechanisms of its planning.
