Abstract EN

The aim of this study is to investigate and understand the concept and features of Aljazera space channel logo which is mainly base on Dewani Arabic script.

The study also discusses why Arab logo designers prefer Arabic calligraphy as the main sourse of their logo designs.

It also discuss why Arab logo designers intended to imitate this logo of Aljazera Space channel in spite of the restrictions and legal rules set by International property that prevent such act .

Analytical and descriptive methods used by the researcher as the most applicable method for such studies.

From the analytical process of the collected data, the researcher has fownd following: Dewaing and Jali Dewaui are the most elegant and flexible scripts than other scripts of Arabic calligraphy, and for this reason Arab logo designers intended to copy the logo of Aljezera space channel.
