Abstract EN

The paper deals with the concentration of oil pollution in shatt-Al-Arab in six sites: Al-Qurna , Al-ma`aqel , Abi-Al-khaseab , Al-seaba and fao .For 2012 – 2013 and 2013 – 2014.

The concentration was high in the second year.

It was 2.06 – 7.14 ml lt in Qurna and fao.in the first year it was 1.69 – 4.9 ml lt.

the pollution have sea soul variation , in winter it was very high where in summer it was low.

the study found that there is an effect of these pollution on agriculture in addition to salt tide.

This result in the decrease of agriculture areas.

It was 94459.45 Acr in 2012 – 2013 and 89999 Acr in2013 – 2014.
