Abstract EN

The study aimed to identify the level of concentration of some Hormones and Minerals in blood and their relationship with the results of boxing matches.

In order to achieve that, the study was applied to a sample of ten players who were chosen by Al Faris Center for Boxing in Irbid governorate.

Blood samples were taken from the sample study before and after competition, to find out the level of some Hormones in blood (TSH, Testosterone, Cortesol, PTH), and the proportion of certain minerals (K, NA).

The results of the study revealed the existence of significant differences in Testosterone and TSH between the pre and post measurements within the group of winners for the favor of the post measurement.

The results also revealed the existence of differences between the group of winners and the group of losers in TestosteroneandCortesol for the favor of the group as a whole.

Moreover, it revealed a drop in Soduim rate with the winners after the competition immediately, while the resulte did not reveal the existence of significance between the pre and post measurements in the level of other Hormone and Minerals (PTH, K).

The researchers recommended the boxing players in Jordan to benefit from this study
