Learning a foreign language is not easy, and its difficulty depends on the learner age, his environment and the characteristics of the language itself through all the levels (phonetics, syntax, lexis, morphology...).

When a beginner stats learning a foreign language he is not going to master it at the first time, so the researcher in the field of foreign language teaching should shorten the way to his objective by discovering the main difficulties that he may face and try to find successful strategies to learn or teach a foreign language, such as English or French at the Algerian universities.
