During many decades if not centuries hiring mercenaries in several armed conflicts was accepted even legitimate in the eyes of the international practice, it’s only lately that its has been declared unlawful and incriminated thanks to some huge and hard working diplomatic efforts.

Once this task accomplished, a new international practice took place in the field of the use of the force, it is question of Private Military Companies and their armed staff ‘’Contractors’’, these latter escape totally from the international law spectrum in spite of their decisive role in several armed conflicts, aren’t they in the first lines of front in many battle field all over the world ?.
