Abstract EN

Cor triatriatum dextrum is an extremely rare cardiac anomaly, and results from the complete persistence of the right sinus venosus valve of the embryonic heart.

In this situation the right atrium is divided by a membrane into tow chambers.

Tow-dimensional echocardiography was used in the diagnosis of this rare condition in a 65-year old female.

No other associated cardiac lesions were documented.
