When the Spanish Occupied Mars el kbir in 1505, some tribes cooperated with Spanish Occupation.
They participated in wars and invasion, they helped them in trading and collecting information about the tribes anti-Spanish as well as in revealing places of Turkish movements.
The purpose of this study is to follow the historical origin of the name Mogataze and their role, and recruiting them for the Spanish army in Oran and to know that and the adoption of the most, they are amilitia of tribes to collaboration with the Spaniards.
