Abstract EN

This paper tried to treat the problematic of adopting the environmental management in the establishment of cement manufacturing in Setif, due to the negative effects of this later on the environment.

The adoption of this kind of management by this establishment، in its organizational structure، can lead to a sustainable development.

The environmental management is important to the extent that it seeks for methods and ways that reduce or minimize pollution.

In this study, we concluded that this cement establishment adopted an environmental management within its organizational structure، in which the only task of the responsible of management is to manage the wastes without any interference in its quantity.

However, it seeks to achieve the principles of the sustainable development through its economic، environmental and social dimensions.

This establishment was able to reduce the percentage of pollution to 6 percent after it was approximately 400 percent.
