Abstract EN
The classification of science constitutes an epistemological and methodological subject in the mental structure of medieval scholars.
it assists in understanding the development of scientific knowledge and its methods, as well as clarifying its boundaries and its system of relations.
it also reveals the philosophical implications and upon the methodological basis which determines both its roots and branches.
This classification is useful in understanding the network of relations and the scientific systems of knowledge and the range of the correlation between sciences and its slow progression.
Consequently the concern in the classification of science between the East and Occident is part of the methodological research in studying the history of sciences for Muslims both in the East and the Occident.
And if most of the classification in the East are the oretically based, they are empirically and realistically oriented in the Occident and they are in line with the civilized development of Moroccan and Andalusian countries
