Abstract EN
This study aimed to what extent the Faculty of Education at Najran University leaders and staff believe in the importance of applying partnership.
It aimed also to explore the reality of partnership and any obstacles of applying.
Accordingly, the study established a series of mechanisms that can contribute in activating the partnership between the Faculty of Education and pre-university education institutions, in light of the benefit from the experiences of some countries that applied the concept of partnership.
The descriptive method was applied using a questionnaire.
The sample consisted of 44 leaders and all the Faculty of Education staff, and the educational leaders departments and their deputies in Najran region (18).
The study results showed an agreement between the two groups about the importance of applying the partnership.
However, they indicated that what is activated is only the partnership in the training field.
The other fields are neglected, despite the conviction of their importance.
Some obstacles stand in the way of implementation of the partnership.
At the first place, the large number of mandates and works entrusted to the Faculty staff impeding the implementation of the partnership.
The partnership process requires high financial cost.
There is a poor integration and coordination between the Faculty of Education and institutions of pre-university education in the exchange of educational experiences.
