Abstract EN

The study aims at identifying the role of the workers’ attitudes, at the High Commission of Tribal Affairs in the southern governorates, in strengthening the social peace in Gaza Strip.

The researcher used the descriptive analytical approach in order to achieve the study objectives.

A questionnaire was used as a tool for collecting the data from the study sample The study sample consisted of (60) employees in the commission.

The questionnaires were distributed by the simple random method and all the questionnaires were retrieved (100%), the study concludes a set of results including: The social peace constitutes a basic factor in providing security and stability in society.

The High Commission of Tribal Affairs in the southern governorates has a tremendous role in promoting the social peace.

The employees in the Commission of Tribal Affairs have awareness of the concept of the social peace in a very high degree, and that the practice level of this concept is very high.

The obstacles that the Commission face in its work in order to achieve social peace are very high.

The biggest obstacles are the partisanship, the difficult economic situations and the lack of having a steady income for some members of the Commission.

The study presents a set of recommendations including: Providing financial and moral support to the category of al Makhateer in Gaza Strip and for the commission of Tribal Affairs in order to carry out their duties to the fullest.

Facilitating the tasks of Tribal Affairs Commission in the government institutions to help in solving many of the problems that cannot be solved by man-made laws.
