I chose the evangelist Lavigeri as a model to present the policy of Christianization adopted by the French administration in Algeria, because it bore the task of evangelizing the Algerians, and then the study of this character would help us understand the nature of the stage and the national reactions to colonial schemes including the plan of Christianization, Evangelism is in fact the service of the Church for the purposes of French administration and the empowerment of integration through religion, language and so on.
