Abstract EN

This study is an field study aims to measure the relationship between the application of quality and development standards in improving educational process, and its impact on faculty members’ satisfaction at King Khalid University.

A questionnaire was designed and distributed to faculty members at King Khalid University in a random sample manner.

The selected sample size was (1000) individuals represented 28 % of total study population (3660) individuals.

The number of distributed and restored forms was (109) With an estimated response rate of about 11 % of the total sample size.

The results of the study showed a significant correlation between measuring the application of quality and development standards and improving the educational process.

Also between improving the learning process and the faculty members satisfaction.

In addition, there is a significant indirect relationship between the standards and the faculty members satisfaction.

The study stated that the application level of quality and development standards does not improve the educational process to as much as required, based on what has been shown in the weakness of satisfaction of faculty members.

The most important recommendations of the study: The leadership of the university must review the application of standards, which leads to the improvement of the educational process, encourage scientific research and take the most important recommendations of the studies and researches.
