Recalling historical heritage in jawad Alhattab Poetry Rasoul Balavi Assistant Professor, department of Arabic language and literature, Persian Gulf University, Bushehr - Iran r.ballawy@pgu.ac.ir Tofigh Rezapour Mohaysany MA student, department of Arabic language and literature, Persian Gulf University, Bushehr - Iran Abstract jawad Alhattab recalled the historical material in his poem in a technical Inspirational way and that’s because of his deep knowledge in Iraqi and Arabic heritage.

He recalled characters and events from distant eras and linked them to actual events.

This Descriptive analytically study try to detect the causes which made the poet to consolidate his relation to history.

It will also detect the ways and meaning of using historical material.

Then, the study will show that the poet recalled history material to express his nation suffering and problems and crises.

By this point, he present these events and historical characters in his poet to balance between them and actual events or to let the reader do that.
