Abstract EN

There is a consensus around the role and the importance of Vocational Training (VT) in reducing unemployment and enhancing the welfare levels, the importance of VT has increased in light of international and technological vast changes nowadays, since unemployment was and still one of the most critical economic & social problems that faces all the nations worldwide, so it's not surprising that this research is occupying special stance in this area.

The geographical bounders of this research has confined to Khartoum State (the Capital of the Sudan) because of it's; highly populated besides it the capital of the country that is hosting most of domestic immigration .The research employ analytical descriptive methodology using questionnaire for the sample of graduates and workers in the VC inside Khartoum state.

The research reached different findings, among which is that VC has contributed in reducing the unemployment levels in Khartoum State among youths , and also it highly contributed in meeting the needs of labor market from the workforce , besides that VC has suffered from the lack of Government financial resources and the limited partnership from the private sector in the business of VC, which, then leads in limiting the roles of CV centers in absorbing youth workhorse in comparison to academic lines.

The research has concluded to several recommendations the importance among which are the necessity of private sector participation in establishing and financing VC , besides the equipping the governmental VC with the required raw materials, and enhanced tools and technology in order to match the accelerated current technology for efficiently perform their stated roles in labor market
