Abstract EN

The objective of this article is contributing to presenting the reforms about public financing management in Algeria and to highlight the positive effects on the financial governance.

In this context, the effective management of public finances and the role of managing the public finance is one of the requirements for achieving financial governance based on the following principles: accountability of agents of public officials on their roles in the management of public administration, transparency of administrative procedures, predictability (mainly through the rule of law) and participation of private sector and Civil society in the decision-making concerning the public interest.

from those concepts, the problematic arises what extent the ability of the management of the public finance within requirements of financial governance in Algeria especially considerate the current economic circumstances characterized by the collapse of prices of hydrocarbon and the weakness of the diversification about the sources of public revenues.

for study this problematic we proceed from the premise that proper performance of the public finance is the main indicator of good governance.

Therefore, we will explain the concept of governance as well as the definition of public financial management and its objectives to reach the relationship between governance and the management of public finances
