Like the Democratic countries, Algeria adopt the method of encouraging the participation of women in political life through the imposition of a quota system for women, this fall’s within the path of political reforms to strengthen the position of women in society and politics, these reforms were embodied in the beginning through the constitutionnel amendement of 2008 ,which has become through the rights of participation of women in elected assemblies, constitutionally gauaranted right through article 31 bis, paragraph 01 of the constitution of 1996, in pursuance of the provisions of this article issued an organic law no 12-03 of tangible outputs from research to expant the chances for representation of women in elected assemblies which translate the principles of good governance which is the participation of women in the political life of Democratic standards
