Abstract EN

This study aimed to identify the range of impact of cartoon films on preschool children from the mothers' point of view.The researchers used the descriptive methodfor sample of (300) mothers, through analyzing (Astonishing Gambol films series as case study).

To analyze the content of the messages delivered to the children through these carton films and the data collected by the questionnaire the reaserchers used Statistic Package of Social Science (SPSS).

The study has come out with the folloing results: No positive correlation between carton films watch and social behavior observation.Also no positive correlation between carton films watch and violence observation.

Negative correlation between carton films watching and effective behaviour observation.

According to the previous results, the research has presented a number of recommendations such as: family shoud have a role in the correct usage of cartoon films by the children regarding the timely watching of cartoon films, the discussion of the contents of the program with the children and instructing them about hidden meanings and immoral content.Encouraging writers and Muslim Arab authors to produce writings for children which promot Islamic values, and reinforcement of the literal Arab and Islamic resources due to this concern
