In his essay "Reflections on Hegel: Islam as Judaism Gone Mad," Ivan Davidson Kalmar, the Canadian anthropologist embarked upon Hegel's thought within a meditational context in which he proposes an essential question that has preoccupied the contemporary thought in both of its sides the secular and the theological over prolonged eras; we meant the question about whether Islam, as Hegelianism alleges, is an ontological reflection of Judaism.

L'essayiste anthropologue canadien Ivan Davidson Kalmar écrit un article intitulé "Réflexions sur la pensée de Hegel – l'islam est-il une transcription du judaïsme? Kalmar poursuit la pensée de Hegel dans un cadre spéculatif, et pose une question essentielle qui a intéressé les penseurs modernistes sur le plan laïque et théologique, celle concernant le fait que l'islam est –d'après les affirmations hégéliennes- une transcription ontologique du judaïsme.
