The recent study aims at identifying the effect of the similarities strategy in achievement and mathematical interconnection of the primary fifth-year female pupils.
The sample of the study consists of (77) female pupils from the primary fifth-year female pupils at Cairo primary female school which belong to the Al-Risafa first directorate of education in Baghdad, for the first semester of the academic year (2016 -2017),they are distributed randomly into two groups, experimental group was consisted of (39) female pupils and the control group consisted of (38) female pupils .
The experimental design with the partial control for two equivalent groups with posttest was adopted.
Both groups were equalized on variables(previous achievement, previous knowledge, intelligence, educational qualification of the parents ,age calculated in months).
The researchers has been prepared two tests, one of them achievement test consisting of (25) objective items with four choices , and the other is mathematical Interconnection test consisting of (20) objective items with four choices too.
The validity , reliability, both two tests have been also verified.
And has been used the (t-test ) equation for two independent samples for analyze the results.
The study found that : similarities strategy has an effect in the achievement and mathematical interconnection of the primary fifth-year female pupils.
