Abstract EN

This paper discusses the Algerian experience in the field of waqf, by referring to the reality of the Waqf Foundation in Algeria and highlighting its civilizational and humanitarian dimension and its contributions to issues affecting the aspects of sustainable development such as health, education, culture, etc.

Institutions complementing and supporting the efforts of economic and social development, because of the huge wealth possessed by real estate or movables, where the Algerian Endowment Foundation ranked second in the Arab in terms of the size and size of the waqf Fund ,Finally, we will discuss the challenges facing the Waqf Foundation in Algeria, the legal, administrative and financial difficulties, and the efforts exerted to promote them through diversifying the methods of investing in Waqfs, calling for and reviving them.
