Abstract EN

Bank merging is a phenomenon which began due to the global financial changes.

It became one of the most important obligations in the globalization era and has affected Arab economies and their development.

Study was conducted and evaluated using the financial analysis of both AL AMAL and AL AHLI in order to find out the reasons for the banking merger.

This study was also aimed in tracking the policy and risk management of Al Ahli bank and its response to the global changes.

This study has found that bank merging were able to identify the weaknesses in banks through the increase of capital base.

This has improved banking cadres, maximized profit, reduced risks and increase the market value of the merging banks.
