Abstract EN

This research aims to identify differences in the levels of psychic robustness through professional experience among civil protection intervention officers.

The study sample consisted of 34 intervention officers divided into two equal parts: 17 intervention agents whose working experience did not exceed one year, and 17 others whose working experience exceeded five years.

The study was based on the analytic descriptive approach which made it possible to have quantitative data on psychic robustness and make a comparison.

The results showed a statistically significant difference in robustness among the civil protection intervention agents.

Civil protection agents with more than five years of working experience have been found to be more robust than agents with less than one year of experience.

As for the dimensions of "commitment and challenge", significant statistical differences were found among the agents of interventions whose working experience exceeded five years, but the statistical difference is not proven for the dimension of "control".
