Abstract EN

This research aims to find out the extent of environmental management’s contribution according to the specifications of the ISO 14000 in activating the practice of green functions chain in the economic organization.

This study concluded that standards of ISO14000 were developed to the extent that it helps in the integration of the green dimension in the organization and then activate the practice of green functions there.

And that according to two mechanisms، the first is the continuous improvement of Environmental aspects in functions.

The second is mechanism evaluating the product life cycle through classifying potential effects on the environment of the system through the stages of the product life cycle starting from access to raw materials، right down to the finalproduct
