Abstract EN

The purpose of the study is to reveal the level of future career anxiety among visually impaired adolescents and its most prevalent dimension.

The Study also aims at detecting differences in the level of future career anxiety based on gender variable and the severity of disability variable.

The study sample consisted of 36 visually impaired adolescents, who have visible disability and study at the schools of el-Oued Province and Biskra in Algeria.

The Study used a scale for measuring future career anxiety among the sample.

The results revealed that there was a high level of future career anxiety among the sample, especially in terms of the psychological dimension, which came at the top, followed by the dimension of reflection and then the physical dimension.

There were not statistically significant differences in the level of future career anxiety due to the gender variable, while there were differences due to the severity of the disability variable.
