Abstract EN

The study seeks to identify the image of the Captain and its signification in the Gulf theatrical text.

The presence of the captain’s authority in the Gulf had contributed to the stenghthening of the state of inequality in society, had instilled his image in the imagination of the Gulf man and had contributed to the formation of the Arabian man’s personality.

It was therefore represented in the Gulf Theater with its different aspects.

This research has studied a number of theatrical texts that had been produced in the Gulf region from 1975 to 2010 and it can be beneficial for those working in the field of theater and for academics working at the faculties of letters and the institutes of Fine Arts.
