Abstract EN

Tuorisim is a significant component of Jordanian economy.

And since tourism prices, especialy airfares, are of basic factors in activating the tourism in the country, this study aims at evaluating the prices of airfares and its impact on tourism in Jordan, and the role of (RJ) in tourist promotion in Jordan.

The study concluded that the RJ has a positive role in the promotion of tourism in Jordan but the airfares are concedered high compared to the neighboring countries.

Accordingly, the study recommended the development of promotional policies for tourism in Jordan, especially the reduction of the prices of tourist trips, and the work on tourism programs and statigies, updating and developing the promotion strategies and modest airfares prices, which contribute to the revitalization of the tourism in light of strong competition in the neighbour countries.
