This research deals with aesthetic of place and for that we have chosen a novel written in French by the Algerian novelist Sirens Baghdad "Yasmina Khadra".

This novel represents many contradictions as it is full of places that seem very close and very far at the same time symbolizing happiness and joyce in one hand and sadness in the other hand.

Place here was not dead, it used to be alive and vibrant like a spirit with feelings representing this in its characters.
