The aim of the paper is to analyze the methods and methodologies used to develop renewable energy sources and technologies in the Arab countries by studying the objective of the Arab strategy to develop renewable energy applications and the implementation of this strategy for the use of renewable energies.

The study concluded that many Arab countries do not have enough reserves of fossil fuels to activate investment in renewable energies and to manage the demand side, Energy costs, low-carbon development, and the need to reallocate these government revenues to promote the expansion of energy efficiency and renewable energy technologies
