The foreign trade is considered as a source of well-being and an essential engine of economic growth and economic development for both developing and developed countries.

Algeria like other nations has given considerable importance to the foreign trade by following a set of reforms, it has adopted a development strategy in which foreign trade played an important role both in terms of imports or exports, a large proportion of the latter depends on the hydrocarbons which is considered as a key resource of foreign currency but the decline in its revenues pushed the government to reconsider the exports structure that depends only on the hydrocarbons as just an alternative complementary to achieve comprehensive development in various fields
