Innovation and technological changes are considered as key factors in the continuity of economic activity, the sustainability of the companies and its competitiveness, or even the competitiveness of countries overall.

The objective of this work is to develop a research model that attempts to identify the main determinants of innovation in Algerian companies.

Overall, results show that the intensity of competition plays a crucial role in improving the capacity of companies to innovate in products, while the function of research and development and the intensity of technological innovation positively contribute in the innovation of products, and the activity of cooperation is a positive impact in raising the capabilities of innovation in the product.
