The aim of this study is to identify impediments to creative thinking and the benefits drawn from brainstorming process to address constraints hindering functional creativity.

For an employee to be creative, he/she has to overcome obstacles and challenges encountered during creative process course.

The study focuses on employing brainstorming sessions to improve the three skills of creative thinking: fluency, flexibility and authenticity within work environment.

The two researchers adopted descriptive analytical approach in their endeavor to answer research questions and arrive at findings and recommendations emphasizing the efficiency of brainstorming technique.
