The present research aimed at identifying the effectiveness of the flipped class strategy in teaching a science methodology course for developing achievement and attitude towards teaching science among Student Teachers.

To achieve the objectives of the research, the analytical and quasi-experimental research designs have been used.

The present research depended on the one group quasi experimental design.

The research materials and tools were: a teacher's guide for teaching the methodology course of teaching science according to the flipped class strategy, an achievement test, an attitude scale towards teaching science.

The research group consisted of 30 students in the educational professionalism department students, scientific section in the faculty of Education Sultan Qabus University Oman .in the second semester of the academic year 2016.

The results of the present research were as follows: -The effectiveness of the flipped class strategy in developing both the achievement and attitude towards teaching science through the high rate effect of the strategy in developing the research variables(achievement and attitude towards teaching science) -There was a statistically significant difference at 0.01% level between the mean scores of the research group in the pre-post testing in the achievement test as a whale and in every one of its six dimensions favoring the post-testing.

-There was a statistically significant difference at 0.01 level between the mean scores of the research group in the pre-post testing of the attitude scale as a whale and in every one of its three dimensions towards teaching science favoring the post testing.

-There was a statistically significant correlation at 0.01 level between the scores of the research group in the post-testing of the achievement test and the scale of the attitude towards teaching science.

Based on the results of the present research, it is recommended that educators responsible for preparing teacher preparation programs should pay more attention to including the flipped class strategy, and affording modern equipment for implementing it, as well as encouraging teachers to use it in the teaching and learning process, and training them on how to use and afford necessary instructional materials for using this strategy in the different instructional administrations
